About my resume and blog
I work on the theoretical foundations of learning and optimization: (1) optimization theory for deep neural networks, especially spectral optimizers; (2) theoretical analysis of genetic programming, focusing on generalization and runtime bounds; (3) reinforcement learning and world action models; and (4) agent systems, particularly context engineering and its underlying theory.
At the SUSTech Theory of AI Lab (advised by Prof. Pietro Simone Oliveto), I work on runtime analysis and generalization bounds for genetic programming, with a full paper targeting AAAI 2027 and an extended journal version planned for a venue such as IEEE TEVC. Several of my other works are available as preprints on arXiv, with further submissions targeting ICML 2027. See the Work page for details.
I am an undergraduate student in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), a member of the Turing Class (class of 2028), currently in my third year.
Yes. In Fall 2026 I serve as a Teaching Assistant for Data Structures and Algorithms Analysis (H) at SUSTech, where I grade assignments and exam papers and lead problem-solving sessions.
My academic advisor is Prof. Pietro Simone Oliveto (SUSTech Department of CSE), and my college advisor is Prof. Yanqing Hu (SUSTech Department of Statistics and Data Science).

Recent and ongoing projects include the CSE Proficiency Assessment System, TeaOS (an education-oriented x86_64 OS), a five-stage pipeline CPU on FPGA, the Chinese translation of Boaz Barak's Introduction to Theoretical Computer Science, and a survey on the SAT problem and complexity classes. Yes, I have completed over 114 hours of volunteer service and am a certified One-Star Volunteer by the Shenzhen Volunteer Federation.
